Edinboro, Pa. – The Edinboro women's basketball team makes the trip to Mercyhurst Saturday for a 5:30 p.m. tipoff with the Lakers.
 
Last Time They Met
Edinboro erased a 12-point fourth quarter deficit to come away with a 91-88 double-overtime victory over the Lakers on Jan. 19. Rana Elhusseini and Haley Sims each scored 17 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead the Scots. Lauren Mullen finished with a career-high 16 points.
 
Playoff Picture
The Fighting Scots magic number to clinch a playoff spot is one. Edinboro is 10-8 in PSAC play and currently in fifth place in the West. With a victory or a Slippery Rock loss, the Fighting Scots will clinch a spot in the PSAC postseason. Edinboro still has a chance to move into the top four in the West and earn a home playoff game.
 
Last Time Out
Edinboro is coming off a 71-61 victory over IUP and never trailed the Crimson Hawks. Elhusseini netted a career-high 30 points shooting 10-for-20 from the field. She also grabbed six rebounds and dished out three assists. Sims tallied 15 points while Gillian Fisher turned in 11.

Scouting the Lakers
Mercyhurst is 7-17 overall and 5-13 in PSAC play after falling 75-73 in overtime at Slippery Rock on Wednesday. The Lakers average 63.5 points per game while allowing 65.9.
 
Grace Centrulla leads the Lakers in points and rebounds with 15.1 and 8.0 respectively. Jayde Boyd adds 11.2 points per contest.
