Women’s Basketball Travels to Slippery Rock

Slippery Rock, Pa. – The Edinboro women's basketball team makes their final road trip of the regular season when they take on Slippery Rock Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.
 
Last Time Out
The Fighting Scots look to bounce back from a 76-66 loss to Mercyhurst on Saturday. Rana Elhusseini led the offense with 19 points and five assists. She also recorded two steals. Haley Sims added 18 points. Bella Burrelli led the Scots with 11 rebounds to go with eight points.
 
Clinched
Edinboro earned a place in the PSAC postseason on Saturday despite the loss. This is the 12th straight PSAC postseason appearance for the Fighting Scots.
 
The First Meeting
In the first meeting between these two teams this season, the Scots came out on top 71-55 at McComb Fieldhouse on Jan. 22. Burrella finished the game with 18-points and 17 rebounds. Elhusseini chipped in 13 points, five assists and three rebounds. Ashten Boggs scored 14 points while Lauren Mullen netted 11.
