Edinboro, Pa. – The Fighting Scots take on the Golden Knights of Gannon University in PSAC West action on Wednesday when they travel to McConnell Family Stadium in Erie, Pa. Game time is set for a 4 p.m. start.
Last Time Out
Edinboro fell to a 2-16 decision against Lock Haven. Sophia Bernardoni and Maggie Anderson were the scorers on the day for the Fighting Scots. Lexi Boyk registered her second assist of the season.
Kaitlyn Binotto made 15 saves after facing 31 shots on target in the cage. Kaitlyn helped halt the scoring in a defensive stand from the second quarter onward, letting five goals up for the remainder of the game.
Scouting Report for the Golden Knights
Gannon currently has a 4-8 record, 2-5 in conference play. Last time out for the Golden Knights they fell to Lock Haven in an 8-14 decision.
Macy Hepditch leads points scoring for Gannon and added three goals on the day, taking her tally to 26 for the season. McKenna Woodworth is second in total points for Gannon with 29 goals and eight assists.
Jess Cheyenne holds a 2-6 record in the cage for Gannon, making 74 saves this season with a save percentage of .418. The Gannon goalkeeper had 13 saves in the loss to Lock Haven.
