Women’s Lacrosse Prepare for Final Home Game of the Season Against Seton Hill University

Edinboro, Pa. – The Fighting Scots will play their final home game of the season on Wednesday night when they take on the visiting Griffins of Seton Hill. Game time is scheduled for 4 p.m. at Sox Harrison Stadium for one last time this season.

Edinboro were up against IUP who were ranked second in the PSAC West standings before their matchup. IUP were the victors on the day in a 17-0 result.

Edinboro had 16 groundballs in the game but were unable to turn their possessions into goals.

Kaitlyn Binotto had 15 saves on the day now taking her total for the season to 185 with a save percentage of .434. Binotto holds first place in saves per game in the PSAC standings with an average of 12.43 per game.


The Visiting Seton Hill Griffins

Seton Hill are currently first in the PSAC West standings with their final game against Edinboro still offering implications on who will clinch the PSAC Western Division title between Seton Hill, Mercyhurst or IUP.

The Griffins were 20-8 winners in the last game against Gannon. Alaina TeSelle had five goals and two assists coming off the bench for Seton Hill to make a big impact.

The Seton Hill points leader Jaclyn Frank added 10 more points in the game from four goal and six assists. Frank surpassed 100 points for the season now taking her to 104 points.
