Edinboro, Pa. – The Edinboro wheelchair basketball closed out Day One of the Boro Shootout with a perfect 3-0 record.
The Scots opened the day with a 55-25 victory over Rochester. The Scots took a 36-8 lead into halftime before playing a 19-17 second half.
Three different Fighting Scots reached double figures led by 14 points from
Jeremy Evans.
William Oberg and
Isaiah Johnson each scored 10. Oberg and
Jordan McCown pulled down a team-high five boards each.
Edinboro topped the London Forest City Flyers 67-38. Johnson paced the offense with 20 points to go with five rebounds. Evans tallied 18 points and a team-leading six rebounds. McCown and Oberg scored 10 each.
In the final contest of the day, the Scots defeated the University of Michigan D3 squad 67-35. Johnson posted a double-double with 16 points and 11 assists. Evans added 14 points and seven helpers. McCown also scored 14 while grabbing five boards.
The Scots are back in action on Sunday for Day Two of the Boro Shootout in McComb Fieldhouse.
