Whitewater, Wisc. – The Edinboro wheelchair basketball team dropped a pair of games in Whitewater, Wisc. Friday.
The Scots dropped their opener to City University of New York 79-51. Edinboro had an offensive struggle in the first half getting outscored 54-17 in the opening frame. They bounced back in the second half outscoring CUNY 34-25, but it wasn't enough to overcome the halftime deficit.
Jeremy Evans led the offensive attack with 19 points to go with six assists and five rebounds.
Isaiah Johnson chipped in 14 points as well as six rebounds and five helpers.
In the second contest, Edinboro dropped a 77-40 decision to Southwest Minnesota State.
Evans again led the team recording a double-double of 15 points, 10 rebounds while also recording eight assists. Johnson added 10 points and seven rebounds while
Elijah Yoder added five points.
The Scots return to action on Saturday with games against Arizona at 9 a.m. and host Wisconsin-Whitewater at 11 a.m.
