Home Sweet Home
These will be the first home contests for the Scots since their season opening Boro Shootout on Nov. 5 & 6. Edinboro is 4-1 on its home floor this season.

"The team and I are really looking forward to playing at home in front of our fans," said head coach Jim Glatch. "The last time we played in Edinboro was our first tournament of the season and the team did very well, going 4-1.  I also think it will be good for our fans to see how far this team has come since the Boro Shootout. With this team being all freshman and sophomores, I knew that the season would be up and down. Early in the season most realized that our team lacked the experience to play with the veteran teams in the division.  The past 2 tournaments the results might not show it, but the team was much improved."

On Offense
Jeremy Evans is the Scots leading scorer at 13.8 points per game. Isaiah Johnson checks in at 6.9 points per contest while Jordan McCown adds 5.1.

"Even though the team is improving in all phases of the game, there is a great deal of work to be done on offense," Glatch said. "Isaiah stepped up and scored above his season average, but I am still trying to get a 3rd and 4th scoring threat.  I thought that Ashton did a good job against Illinois and William did a nice job in the Auburn game.  Much like I said last week, we need to be more consistent.  If these 3 players can continue to get 10-12 points a game, then it will make it easier for Jeremy to free up and get some shots off."

Defensive Efforts
Edinboro is allowing 52.6 points per contest. Evans leads the team with nine blocked shots and 104 defensive rebounds. Johnson adds 97 defensive boards.

"We need to do a better job in pushing teams out of the paint and not giving up so many fast break opportunities," said Glatch. "One of the concerns I have had with this young team is that they feed off of their success on the offensive side of the ball, whether it be positive or not. "

Jersey Retirements
The Scots will enshrine a pair of retired numbers in McComb this weekend in No. 10 Jose Leep and No. 5 Trevon Jenifer. Not only did both players have exceptional careers in Fighting Scot uniforms, but have also had illustrious international careers. Both players are also members of the Edinboro Athletic Hall of Fame.
