Lacrosse Resume PSAC Play Away at Lock Haven

Edinboro, Pa. – The Fighting Scots have a quick turn around after their recent match with Daemen, as they travel to Lock Haven this Saturday.
 
This will be Edinboro's third away trip of their PSAC schedule. They enter the matchup now 2-5, 0-2 in PSAC as they look to secure their first win in the conference this Saturday. Their opponent, Lock Haven are also 2-5 this season, playing one extra PSAC game giving them a conference record of 1-2. 
 
Edinboro were undone by a strong first half from Daemen in their most recent game, losing on the day 18-7. 

Caroline Zentis had three goals against Daemen taking her tally to 11 goals in five games. Emma Lamica added two more to her season tally, now at 10 goals. 
 
Savannah Fischer had five saves against the Wildcats, bringing her total saves to 32. 
 
The Bald Eagles of Lock Haven were on the losing side in a 17-9 result against Slippery Rock last time out. A strong second half from Slippery Rock secured the victory out scoring Lock Haven 10-3.
 
Abby Katrinak, Emma Schiemer and Emma Williams each scored two goals in the match Katrinak leads the team in scoring with 15 goals and four assists. 
 
Gabby Gunnip, Josey Shaffer and Emma Williams are all in double figures for goals scored so far this season, with Williams leading the team in assists with six. 
 
Dana Mirigliano has had the most minutes in goal for Lock Haven making 67 saves. 
 
Up next for Edinboro is a home matchup with Mercyhurst University on March, 29th at 4 p.m.
