Edinboro went behind 3-0 in the first quarter of the game, before
Emma Lamica found a breakthrough with five minutes remaining in the first,
Kenna Sinisgalli had the assist making it three for the season.

Traci Culver then put Edinboro ahead 15 seconds later, assisted by
Caroline Zentis. Chowan tied things up 4-4 with a minute remaining after a back and forth first quarter.
Chowan took the lead in the fifth minute of the second quarter.
Emma Lamica this time scored from a free position opportunity to tie it up 5-5. The first half of the game saw Edinboro trail 7-6 with the Hawks scoring two quick goals before
Traci Culver brought one back from an
Emma Lamica assist.
Rylee Jones had the Fighting Scots back on level terms five minutes into the second half thanks to a
Traci Culver assist. Chowan scored two minutes later to take the lead 8-7. The Scots scored three goals without reply to lead 10-8 at the end of the third.
Rylee Jones scored unassisted, before Edinboro took advantage of a player up situation, where
Traci Culver and
Rylee Jones fired Edinboro into a two goal lead.
The final quarter provided tense exchanges with Chowan scoring early.
Caroline Zentis then scored from a
Lexi Boyk assist before Chowan closed the deficit to one with nine minutes left in the quarter. The Hawks leveled the game two minutes later before a go ahead goal in the final minute.
Traci Culver gained the draw control from the restart which led to
Emma Lamica equalizing from a
Rylee Jones assist, sending the match to overtime.
Double overtime was needed after a goalless first period, the second saw Edinboro clinch victory thanks to a late free position attempt by
Emma Lamica which found the back of the net, ending the game in a 13-12 result for the Fighting Scots.
Edinboro's final game of the Spring Break stretch is against Lake Erie College on Saturday, Mar. 11. The match takes place in Painesville (OH) with the match set to start at 1 p.m.
