Edinboro, Pa. – The Fighting Scots enter their final week of the season as they welcome Lock Haven to Sox Harrison stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Edinboro will use their penultimate game to celebrate senior players;
Ysobel Cathart,
Kate Crissman, and
Morgan King before the start of the game.
The Fighting Scots dropped a 3-20 result to Mercyhurst last time out.
Savannah Fischer reached 100 saves for Edinboro, Fischer made 12 saves in the game from 40 shots in the game. Fischer is ranked 8th in the PSAC for saves per game, averaging 7.58 saves per game.
Emma Lamica,
Rylee Jones, and
Caroline Zentis were each on the scoresheet for Edinboro. Jones now has 31 goals, just three goals shy of the top 10 players for goals in the PSAC.
Lock Haven enter the game 5-10 on the season, and 3-7 in the PSAC.
The Bald Eagles most recent win came against Gannon in a 14-7 victory. Abby Katrinak lead the team in scoring on the day with four goals. Kaitlyn Collins and Gabby Gunnip each added three goals to help the team to the win.
Gunnip sits atop the scoring table with 29 goals in 2023, Katrinak has been ever present starting every game, totaling 27 goals and 11 assists. Josey Shaffer is the third player for Lock Haven to break 20 goals with 23 to her name.
Dana Mirigliano has started all 15 games in goal, making 124 saves with a save percentage of .407.
