Painesville, Ohio – The Edinboro women's lacrosse team is back in action on Wednesday with a trip to Lake Erie for a non-conference showdown with the Storm.
Last Time Out
The Fighting Scots scored a 13-7 victory over West Virginia Wesleyan on Saturday.
Jacqui Detelich paced the offense with six points on four goals and two assists. Rylie Jones tallied two goals and three helpers for five points. Traci Cluver added three goals and one assist for four points.
Statistical Leaders
Jones has paced the Scot offense through three games with 13 points on five goals and eight assists. Culver and Detelich are tied for the team lead in goals with six. Culver has also dished out four helpers while Detelich has two assists.
Defensively, Jones and
Lexi Boyk each have 10 caused turnovers and 11 ground balls.
Addy Ours has started all three games in net making 13 saves and posting a .325 save percentage.
Scouting the Storm
Lake Erie is now 3-4 overall after dropping a 17-9 decision to Colorado State Pueblo on Monday. Brooke McNeal led the Strom offense with three goals. Madelyn Goodrich tallied a pair of goals. Cynthia Saxby and Erin Snyder each picked up two points on one goal and one helper.
The Storm have scored 73 goals this season while allowing 77. Goodrich leads the offense with 24 points on 21 goals and three assists. McNeal has scored 18 goals and recorded two helpers for 20 points. Snyder has also reached double figure points with 17 on seven goals and a team-high 10 helpers.
