Three Questions with Coach Glatch
Quick turnaround after a pair of wins this weekend, what can you take from the two wins Saturday as you prepare for your opening matchup with CUNY at Nationals?

It was a great way to finish the regular season two wins versus a quality opponent.  Cleveland had only one loss on the season coming into Saturday and for Elijah and Isaiah it was fun for both of them as they are both from the Cleveland area.  In the first game we had four players in double figures and played our best team defense of the season.  That game was probably our best team game of the season.  The second game was an important win it helped show the guys that they can get down and be in a nailbiter for the first 30 minutes and still pull away.  Playing Cleveland is a lot like playing CUNY.  Both teams are bigger and have more experience than our team.  In the past that has caused us issues and then have struggled to come back.  Finding ways to score and defend against Cleveland should prepare us better than anything we could do in practice.

You are very familiar with CUNY after several matchups this season. What do you need to do to find success against them?

Much like we did with Cleveland, we need to defend well in the half court and not give them more than one shot per possession.  Looking back at the last two CUNY games we played this season, we did a good job in stopping their initial possession, but too many times they would get the offensive board and put it back in.  The other area we have to watch with them is their fast break points.  The last game we played CUNY we did a better job of rotating back and eliminating some of their fast break points, but we needed to do this for 40 minutes.  Our offensive transition game against both Missouri and Cleveland have been better than any other time in our season.  It has our guys getting out fast and realizing that they can score out of transition and not having to wait until the half-court offense is set up.   I think the last part of the formula in beating CUNY is have the balanced attack we had against Cleveland in game one on Saturday.  Most of the CUNY defensive focus has been on Jeremy and Isaiah, we have other players that are capable of scoring and when they do we have had great success.

How do you get the team ready after the long trip out to Marshall, Minn.?

Before we get on the bus the team will have a 2-hour practice.  Tuesday will be a meeting day after we arrive.  We will also have a team study table to make sure that the team stays focused on academics.  Wednesday is Media Day and the team shoot-around.  I will add another team meeting to make sure everyone knows the game plan for Thursday's matchup with CUNY.  Traveling so far for nationals is normal and for the upperclassman they have adjusted to the travel.  With this trip I like to leave Monday night so the guys spend the first half of the ride sleeping, we will get off the bus on the way out for breakfast and then only have a 6–7-hour ride to our hotel.  Tuesday will also serve as a day to relax and focus on what is ahead of them.  The great thing about this team is it is still young, but 7 of the players have been through this experience before.  Each one of them is very focused on having a successful tournament and showing how much the Boro team has grown.
