Marshall, Minn. – The Edinboro wheelchair basketball team scored a decisive 67-47 win over City University of New York before falling to No. 1 Arizona in the second game.
In the opener, the Scots held a 30-25 lead at the break and then opened the lead in the second half and scored their first ever victory over CUNY.
Isaiah Johnson tallied a double-double of 20 points and 11 rebounds.
Dakarai Moore added 17 points and seven boards.
Jeremy Evans notched nine points and nine assists. The Scots lead for 33:27 of the games 40 minutes and outrebounded CUNY 41-30.
In the second contest, Evans led the offense with nine points while Johnson added eight points and two rebounds.
The Scots are back in action at 9 p.m. ET and they will take on the winner of the University of Texas-Arlington-Missouri contest scheduled for 1 p.m. ET.
