Women’s Basketball Continues PSAC West Play

Edinboro, Pa. – The Edinboro women's basketball team continues PSAC West play Wednesday and Saturday with contests against Pitt-Johnstown and Gannon.
 
The Games
The Scots travel to Pitt-Johnstown on Wednesday for a 5:30 p.m. tip-off against the Mountain Cats. Fans can follow live stats and watch on the PSAC Sports Digital Network.
 
On Saturday, Edinboro plays host to Gannon at 1 p.m. inside McComb Fieldhouse. Fans can follow live stats and watch on the PSAC Sports Digital Network. Those coming to the game are reminded that Edinboro athletics has moved to digital ticketing, tickets can be purchased by clicking here.
 
Edinboro Last Time Out
The Fighting Scots dropped an 83-70 decision to IUP to move to 11-3 overall and 7-1 in PSAC play. Hayley Sims led the Edinboro offense with 17 points to go with a pair of steals. Ava Haddad added 14 points, three boards and two assists. Morgan Gentile finished with 11 points, seven rebounds, five assists and two steals. Natalie Angeletti also scored in double figures with 10 points as well as pulling down seven rebounds.

The Mountain Cats are 2-12 overall and 0-7 in PSAC play after falling 71-58 to Slippery Rock on Monday. Belle Bosch led UPJ with a double-double of 21 points and 10 rebounds. Sophia Ott added 11 points. M'laya Ainsworth and Lexi Margolis each tallied 10 points.
