Volleyball Set for Conference Contests with Pitt-Johnstown and IUP

Edinboro, Pa. -- The Edinboro women's volleyball team returns to McComb Fieldhouse for a pair of PSAC West contests with Pitt-Johnstown and IUP on Friday and Saturday.

The Games
On Friday, the Scots host Pitt-Johnstown at 6 p.m. Edinboro with take on IUP inside McComb Fieldhouse on Saturday with a 4 p.m. start time. Fans can watch on the PSAC Digital Network or follow on live stats for both games.

Last Time Out
The Scots slipped to 5-6 on the year and 0-1 in PSAC West play after falling 3-0 to Gannon. Makayla Neelands led the offense with 11 kills and three service aces. Reilly Parent added seven kills. Grace Petro tallied 11 assists while Laney Burns turned in nine. Neelands and Parent each turned in eight digs.

Offensive Leaders
Neelands has led the offense with 157 kills and 28 service aces. Parent has also reached triple-digit kills with 146 and 11 aces. Burns has 212 assists splitting time with Grace Petro and her 187 helpers. 

Defensive Leaders
Maggie Koster has paced the blocking effort for the Scots with 32 blocks including four solo stuffs. Josephine Bailey adds 21 blocks while Emma Hiott adds 19. Neelands and Parent have 133 digs and 111 digs respectively. Karesajane Sivas is just shy of three-figures with 93 digs. 

The Mountain Cats
Pitt-Johnstown is currently 10-3 overall and 1-0 in PSAC West play after defeating East Stroudsburg on Friday. Ellie Zuro Cirino led the offense with 20 kills while Dannika Susko tallied six blocks and Jessica Krug notched 19 digs. Cirino has paced the offense on the season with 198 kills. Carolin Knight checks in with 1331 kills. Abby Berry triggers the offense with 404 set assists. Krug leads the team with 194 digs while Mallory Pinske leads the blocking effort with 39.

The Crimson Hawks
IUP stands at 11-3 overall and 0-1 in West play. Last time out, the Crimson Hawks topped Lock Haven 3-1 . IUP travels to Gannon on Friday. Jessica Neiman leads the offense with 159 kills. Delaney Concannon and Peyton Belcher each have cross the century mark this season wiht 121 and 102 kills respectively. Ellie Rauch triggers the offense with 454 assists. Charlotte Potvin is the top blocker with 34. Brooke Kessler has posted a team-high 158 digs.
