Lock Haven, Pa. -- Edinboro standout guard Gabby McDuffie earned PSAC West Defensive Player of the Week announced by the conference office on Monday.

McDuffie was the Scots leading scorer in a pair of PSAC West wins over No. 11 Gannon and Pitt-Johnstown last week. She turned in an average of 17 points and 8.5 rebounds leading the Scots in both categories this week.

Against Gannon, McDuffie tallied 12 points and nine rebounds all defensive while also recording a steal in a 66-53 victory over the Golden Knights. Against the Mountain Cats, she tallied 22 points, eight rebounds, seven defensive, three steals and two blocks. 

She finished the week shooting 11-fo-19 from the field and 4-of-8 from beyond the arc. She was also 8-of-8 from the free throw line.

The Scots are back in action on Saturday when they travel to IUP.
