Edinboro, Pa. – The Edinboro women's basketball team begins PSAC Championship tournament play on Wednesday when they host IUP.
The Game
The Scots and Crimson Hawks will square off at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday in the PSAC Quarterfinals. Fans can purchase tickets
here. There will not be cash sales at the door. Those that can't make the game can
watch the game on the PSAC Digital Network or follow along on
live stats.
Last Time Out
The Scots scored an 81-79 victory over California (Pa.) in the final contest of the regular season on Saturday.
Morgan Gentile led the Edinboro offense with a double-double of 23 points and 10 rebounds.
Ashten Boggs added 20 points and eight boards.
Gabby McDuffie just missed a double-double with 18 points and nine rebounds.
Ava Haddad and Rachael Manfedo each tallied eight points.
PSAC Weekly Honors
Gentile earned the last PSAC West Player of the Week honor of the regular season averaging 16.5 points, 8.0 rebounds and 3.5 assists in a pair of conference wins last week.
Atlantic Regional Rankings
Both the Scots and Crimson Hawks found themselves in the upper half of the NCAA Atlantic Regional rankings released last Wednesday with IUP holding the number two slot and Edinboro checking in at number three. The teams in the West's other quarterfinal, Seton Hill and Gannon, were No. 1 and No. 4 respectively in the region.
Season Series
IUP won both regular season matchups between the two teams winning 83-70 on Jan. 6 and rallying for a 76-72 overtime win on Feb. 15.

The Crimson Hawks advanced to the quarterfinals with a 58-57 victory over California (Pa.) on Monday. Shamia Strayhorn led the Crimson Hawks with 17 points, seven rebounds and four assists. Nyshae' Weaver added a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds.
