How They Got Here
The Scots earned the PSAC West's top seed with a 17-3 mark in conference play. In their quarterfinal matchup with IUP the Scots led wire-to-wire holding off a late Crimson Hawk charge to win 66-64.
Hayley Sims netted a game-high 23 points to go with six rebounds.
Morgan Gentile finished with 13 points, eight rebounds, three assists and two steals.
Ava Haddad added 10 points and four rebounds.
Gabby McDuffie and
Rachael Manfredo each tallied nine points.
All-Conference Honors
Gentile was honored as the PSAC West Player of the Year and First-Team All-Conference selection. She ranked eighth in the PSAC in scoring with 15.1 points per game while also leading the conference in assists per game at 4.6. Gentile was also seventh in the PSAC in steals averaging 2.29 per contest.Manfredo earned PSAC West Freshman of the Year honors while
Hayley Sims was second-team all-conference her third All-PSAC selection.
