Youngstown, Ohio – The Edinboro women's indoor team had a solid showing at the Youngstown State Mid-Major Invitational Friday and Saturday.
Bernadette Zukina ran a PSAC qualifying time of 25.59 to finish eighth in the 200-meter. In the 400-meter, Zukina posted a personal best 55.71 placing first. That time is good for 16
th in Division II. Maddie Hays was sixth in the 400 with a PSAC qualifying time of 59.50.
Mackenzie Huston also posted a top 10 finish in a time of 1:00.23.
The Scots had a pair of top-10 finishes in the 3K.
Kadi Bauer crossed the line in 10:19.74 to place fourth.
Katie Slimon was eighth in 10:34.60.
Jada Cole cleared 1.69 meters on her way to a first-place finish.
Anna Elder posted a PSAC qualifying mark of 16.12 in the weight throw.
Madeline Newark posted a score of 3,609 in the pentathlon the second-best score in PSAC history. She is currently in the top-10 in Division II.
The Scots return to action on Friday at the Ashland Invitational.
