Edinboro, Pa. – The Edinboro women's basketball team will host a pair of PSAC West contests on Wednesday and Saturday inside McComb Fieldhouse.
The Games
On Wednesday the Scots will play host to Clarion at 5:30 p.m. It is Faculty & Staff Appreciation Day and Hoops for Harlie. On Saturday, Edinboro will host Student and Community Appreciation Day while also celebrating the Edinboro members of the PSAC 75 while taking on California (Pa.) at 1 p.m. Both games will be
broadcast on the PSAC Digital Network and Edinboro Athletics will provide
live stats.
Last Time Out
The Scots are looking to bounce back after a 62-53 loss at Pitt-Johnstown on Saturday.
Rachael Manfredo led the Scot offense with 19 points to go with six rebounds, two blocks and two steals.
Taylor Blunt tallied 16 points and three boards.
Ava Haddad pulled down a team-best nine boards to go with six points.
PSAC Playoff Picture
The Scots have secured a spot in the PSAC postseason. They are currently fourth in the PSAC West at 11-5 four games up on fifth place Clarion and California. Edinboro needs one win to earn a home playoff game.
Senior Day
The Fighting Scots will honor the senior members of the team prior to Saturday's contest:
Bailie Brinson, Haddad and
Maura Suman.
Clarion
The Golden Eagles are 12-10 overall and 7-9 in PSAC play after dropping a 101-94 decision to Cal on Saturday. Arianna Seitz paced Clarion with 24 points and eight rebounds. Zoe Guice added 21 points, eight assists and seven boards. Zoe Bayer chipped in 21 points on 7-of-11 shooting.
California (PA)
The Vulcans are 11-15 overall and 7-9 in PSAC play after defeating Clarion 101-94 on Saturday. Kennedy Bankett led Cal offense with 23 points. Kimaya Williams notched a double-double of 22 points and 13 rebounds. Macy Sardone chipped in 10 points. The Vulcans travel to Pitt-Johnstown on Wednesday.
