Edinboro, Pa. – The Edinboro women's basketball team will finish the regular season on the road with a pair of PSAC West contests.
The Games
The Scots travel to Slippery Rock on Wednesday for a 5:30 p.m. tip-off against the Rock. The game will be
broadcast on the PSAC Digital Network and Slippery Rock Athletics will provide
live stats. On Saturday, Edinboro travels to Seton Hill for a 1:00 p.m. contest with the Griffins. The game will also be
broadcast on the PSAC Digital Network and Seton Hill Athletics will provide
live stats.
Last Time Out
The Scots improved to 16-11 overall and 13-5 overall after scoring a 71-64 win over California (PA) on Saturday.
Rachael Manfredo led all scorers with 24 points to go with five rebounds, two assists and two steals.
Ava Haddad added 16 points, eight boards and five assists.
Taylor Blunt also reached double figures with 13 points.
Regional Rankings
Edinboro was one of 10 teams listed as under consideration for the NCAA Atlantic Region last week. The first set of numbered rankings are set for release on Wednesday afternoon.
PSAC Playoff Picture
The Scots have earned a home playoff game on Monday March 2 and could be the PSAC West third or fourth seed.
Slippery Rock
The Rock is 7-17 overall and 5-13 in PSAC play after dropping a 98-71 decision to Seton Hill on Saturday. Iyanna Wade led Slippery Rock with 17 points to go with five assists and four rebounds. Karianna Woods added 12 points while Kayley Joseph-Bernard pulled down 10 rebounds and scored nine points.
Seton Hill
The Griffins ran their record to 17-7 overall and 13-5 in PSAC play with the 98-71 win over Slippery Rock. Hailee Ford tallied 27 points and eight rebounds. Helene Cowan notched 21 points and six steals while Hallie Cowen scored 20 points and pulled down six boards. The Griffins host Pitt-Johnstown on Wednesday.
